Where can I get Glintmark?
What is Paste & Parse?
Copy any quote, verse, or passage, then tap "Paste & Parse" in the editor. Glintmark uses AI to automatically extract the quote body, attribution, and source so you don't have to type them separately. The first time, Glintmark asks before sending your text to the AI service. Tap Allow to use AI, or Don't Allow to parse on your device only. It works with no setup and includes 5 AI parses a day. After that, or if the AI service can't be reached, Glintmark fills in what it can on your device. Your own OpenRouter key in Settings removes the daily limit.
Does Glintmark collect my data?
No. Cards are stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers. The only text that leaves your device is quote text you've allowed Glintmark to read with AI, from Paste & Parse or the share extension. That text is sent to the AI parsing service and isn't stored by us. The app also downloads a list of authors and, for Portrait cards, author images. See our

How do I turn AI parsing off?
Open Settings in Glintmark (the gear in the library) and turn off "Use AI to read quotes." Paste & Parse and the share extension then parse text on your device only, and nothing you paste leaves your phone. Turn it back on any time.
Do I need an OpenRouter API key?
No. Paste & Parse works without one. If you parse a lot, add your own key in Settings to remove the daily limit. Your text then goes straight from your device to OpenRouter and is billed to your account (well under $0.001 per parse). Free keys are available at openrouter.ai.
My card looks different than expected. What happened?
Font size scales with the length of your quote and the card's aspect ratio — longer quotes use smaller type, portrait cards use larger type than square ones. Try shortening the quote text or switching aspect ratio. If you see a rendering bug, please contact us with a screenshot.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes. In the background panel, tap Upload, then Choose Photo. The iOS photo picker gives Glintmark only the photo you pick, not your whole library. The image stays on your device and is never uploaded.
